This is based on another Pinterest-found recipe. I loved the idea of a gnocchi mac and cheese, but I wanted to put my own CSA spin on it. Really, the only changes I made to the original recipe was to throw about 2 cups of broccoli florets into the hot water with the gnocchi and then bake them together. I would also suggest using cheddar instead of fontina with the Gruyère, or any combination you like, really. I may also try it out next time with some roasted butternut squash instead. Yum!
